EMBRACE is our employee resource group (ERG) dedicated to celebrating and championing ethnic and cultural diversity & opportunity. This Summer we partnered with JLL’s 'Race for Change' ERG to host a joint leadership workshop. It was a powerful example of cross-collaboration within our industry. Centred on 'Leadership and Community', the day was arranged to create space for colleagues to share experiences, reflect on their identity and impact as well as explore what leadership looks like at every level. From advocating for others to building inclusive teams, there is always a role to play. Creating an atmosphere of openness, connection, and fresh perspectives we concluded the day with a chance to network and continue meaningful conversations over a BBQ. A huge thank you to the colleagues who made this event possible: Andrew Twagira, Jessie Kainth, Christabel Idun, Ann-Marie Botchway - MARLA Grace Mahoney, Dina Morsy, Lenishae Brown, Nero Rocque , Vanessa Belleau MA MSC▪️, Chenge B. & Tim Hyatt FRICS We’re proud of the energy and commitment shown by everyone involved, and of the reminder that leadership is not about title, but about intention, authenticity and community. 🎥 Watch the highlights from the day Learn more about EMBRACE & our DEI initiatives here: https://bit.ly/47cC71v #Leadership #Community

The UK faces a seniors housing crisis that's hiding in plain sight. We need 50,000 new seniors housing units annually, but we're delivering just 6,000. And with 5 million more over-65s expected by 2040, this shortfall isn't just about housing, it's a looming healthcare and social care crisis. For investors, seniors housing offers stable income, low voids, sticky tenants with spending power. For society, it releases family housing stock and reduces NHS pressures. Tom Scaife breaks down why the UK must act now to capture this opportunity: https://bit.ly/4ffxCoS #SeniorsHousing #UKHousing #Healthcare #Investment #SeniorLiving #BTR #KnightFrank

Creating opportunity for all is more than a value. It’s something we put into practice every day. We’re proud to announce that two of our colleagues, Chelsea Whelan and Joel Cooper have been nominated at the 2025 UK Social Mobility Awards, a recognition of their commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable future within property and beyond. Chelsea Whelan, nominated for ‘Champion of the Year 2025’, has been a driving voice for access and equity across the firm. Chelsea has led initiatives that provide opportunities for those from all backgrounds and continually advocates for structural change. Chelsea’s passion and determination have helped shape a more inclusive culture, and she’s a trusted mentor to many both inside and outside the business. Joel Cooper, a finalist for ‘Rising Star of the Year 2025’, has invested over 50 volunteer hours as Deputy Chair of our Social Mobility employee resource group (RISE). Designing onboarding processes, leading personal finance workshops, and speaking at outreach events to inspire the next generation, Joel’s work has helped embed social mobility into our culture while supporting young people and early-career professionals to see real estate as a place they can thrive. Joel’s impact is practical, people-first, and growing every day. We’re proud to stand behind Chelsea and Joel, as valued colleagues in our partnership. They are both changemakers who embody our values and are helping lead the way to a more inclusive industry. We’re amplifying underrepresented voices through our powerful podcast, ‘Hear My Story, Know My Journey’, currently nominated at the awards for “Innovation of the Year”. Hosted by Tahmina Aziz, the series gives colleagues from lower socioeconomic backgrounds a platform to share their personal journeys, while also hearing from senior leaders on why social mobility matters. Tahmina leads honest, thought-provoking conversations around class, identity, and access. We’re helping to shift workplace culture and spark deeper understanding across our firm. #SocialMobilityAwards #ExceptionalPeople #SocialMobility #RISE
