    Masterpiece

An intense thrill ride all the way through in court as well as the events leading up to it. Even when you are sure you know what's going to happen, another twist makes you think otherwise

    Something is missing

Who is Olivia Pope? Who is Marckus? Who is Grant? How did Olivia and Annalise cone to an agreement about the Supreme Court? Why do I have to watch an episode of another show ( Scandal) to understand all these things? And where do i find this episode ( it's not on Netflix, watching now HTGAWM in 2022 in Europe)?

    Keating vs. Supreme Court

Another amazing episode! The writers sure know how to create a suspenseful courtroom drama! Outstanding in direction, cinematography, editing and of course writing. Perfect as always performance by Viola Davis and the entire cast. A well deserved 10/10 from me

    Good Speechmaking

While several roadblocks were thrown in her path, Annalise finally gets to make her speech. Of course, the Chief Justice is a complete ass to start with. We still don't know what will happen but it would have been entertaining. But some news surfaces at the last minute that makes the last two episodes more interesting.

    Disappointingly, not what I expected

First, I just want to say this is not a bad episode. I enjoyed the intensity of the courtroom and great acting from the actors.

However, the show lost its ability to attract viewers. At the final scene of the last episode, following Michaela's suggestions, we saw Annalise walking into Olivia's lecture, with that big "How to Survive a Scandal" on the board. I was hoping for something fun and electrifying on the show again. Then, just like other early episodes in the season, we received more soap opera and sobbing scenes. I thought the Crossover, with two strong and powerful woman, would be kick-ass and thrilling, but somehow, I found it missing.

It could have been better - much better.

Annalise Keating: Racism is built into the DNA of America. And as long as we turn a blind eye to the pain of those suffering under its oppression, we will never escape those origins. The only safeguard people of color have is the right to a defense, and we won't even give them that. Which means that the promise of civil rights has never been fulfilled. Due to the failure of our justice system, our public defense system in particular, Jim Crow is alive and kicking; laws that made it illegal for blacks and whites to be buried in the same cemetery, that categorized people into quadroons and octaroons, that punished a black person for seeking medical attention in a white hospital. Some may claim that slavery has ended. But tell that to the inmates who are kept in cages and told that they don't have any rights at all. People like my client, Nathaniel Lahey, and millions of people like him who are relegated to a subclass of human existence in our prisons. There is no alternative to justice in this case. There is no other option. To decide against my plaintiff is to choose lining the pockets of prison owners over providing basic defense for the people who live in them. And is that the America that this Court really wants to live in? Where money is more important than humanity? Where criminality is confused with mental health? The Sixth Amendment was ratified in 1791. It's been 226 years since then. Let's finally guarantee its rights to all of our citizens.
