    - Present

    ALT Linux based appliance for fast deployment of SMS applications using Kannel SMS gateway. Started to automate work on VAS platforms deployment (and learn how to build customized Linux distro using mkimage).

    During this project we have implemented the following:

    * Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design and setup
    * private application cloud implementation
    * SMS and IVR platforms deployment
    * SMSC and Softswitch integration with EthioTelecom
    * implementation and launch of several VAS applications

    Technologies and core components:

    * Base platforms: ALT Linux, DRBD, OpenVZ, Heartbeat
    * Development platforms: Perl, PHP, PostgreSQL
    * Applications: Kannel, Asterisk…
