Meet Ian, Claire, and Jeremy from our Warehouse team on-site at Mt Arthur Coal in New South Wales. 🎉 We are committed to a $30 million community fund to support the Upper Hunter as it prepares for the responsible closure of the Mt Arthur Coal mine in 2030. The fund will be delivered in partnership with the community through a shared decision-making model and will prioritise initiatives that: - support job creation, entrepreneurship, and industry diversification - support education and training opportunities, and - support Indigenous entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. Anita started with BHP in Newman, Western Australia when she was just 21. 20 years later, she's still with BHP and working as a Superintendent in the BMA Learning, Capability and Compliance team on the other side of Australia. "I wanted to work in the mining industry to positively influence the ability for our workforce to return home safely after each shift. I've met some terrific people over the years and am immensely grateful for the experiences and diverse opportunities for personal and career development this industry brings." As we celebrate our 140th anniversary, it’s the character of our people that continues to drive our future. #BHP140 #careers #mining #safety

    Chief Executive Officer at BHP

Today we released our results for the 2025 financial year – once again demonstrating our resilience, strength and operational excellence.  It was a result made possible by the dedication of our 90,000 strong global workforce who help make BHP safer, more productive and more sustainable every day. We achieved record iron ore and copper production and delivered on our full year guidance – and this underpinned a final dividend of 60 US cents per share, which will be paid on 25 September. And we’re well positioned for high-quality growth – in copper from Chile and South Australia, in iron ore at WAIO and in potash at Jansen. Our financial strength enables us to reward shareholders, invest in growth and create lasting social value with those around us. This year we contributed almost US$47 billion to the global economy. That included more than AU$10 billion in payments to Australian governments in taxes and royalties, which helps fund schools, roads and hospitals. We have also grown our spend with Indigenous businesses by 40 per cent to more than US$850 million. Importantly, we remain on track to meet our operational greenhouse gas reduction ambitions for 2030. Thank you to our partners, suppliers, investors and, of course, our workforce for another strong year. Together, we continue to advance BHP’s purpose of bringing people and resources together to build a better world.

We're exploring options for the innovative solutions that will be essential to decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors, like the steel industry. Along with a consortium of partners, we will undertake a pre-feasibility study to assess the development of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) hubs across Asia. By leveraging shared knowledge and resources through the new CCUS Hub Study, we hope to accelerate global decarbonisation efforts. #decarbonisation #partnerships #ccus
