AWARD WINNING | We’re proud to share that Buildcorp has been recognised at the MBA Awards Queensland, winning the Commercial Fit-out over $10M award for Arup’s new Brisbane workplace at 123 Albert Street. This wasn’t just a fit-out - it was a bold experiment in what a regenerative, inclusive, and high-performance workplace can be. Arup’s vision challenged us to rethink every step of the construction process, from materials and waste to collaboration and craftsmanship. Delivered over 20 weeks, the project spanned 4,000m² across 2.5 floors and included a café, wintergardens, conferencing facilities, a specialist SoundLab, and a one-of-a-kind cross-laminated timber staircase (completed by @Arden who won Commercial Trade Contractor of the Year). It’s targeting both the Living Building Challenge (LBC) and WELL Platinum certification – a feat no other workplace in Australia has achieved. To meet these standards, our team: - Salvaged and repurposed materials like green granite, oyster shells, and ripple iron. - Delivered a 98.9% waste recycling rate across 16 major waste streams. - Coordinated over 471 inductions and 14 education sessions to upskill our workforce on LBC requirements. - Engineered custom solutions including a coffer ceiling with First Nations artwork, mobile bleachers, and a pond-less waterfall with charcoal filtration. - Navigated complex logistics including limited lift access, evolving design, and tight lead times — all without compromising quality or program. Buildcorp’s role was to make it real. We leaned into the complexity, embraced the unknown, and worked collaboratively to deliver a space that reflects Arup’s values and sets a new benchmark for workplaces in Australia. We’re honoured to have played a part in bringing this sustainability-leading project to life and look forward to celebrating everyone involved at the upcoming state and national MBA awards. CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE | We are thrilled to announce that Buildcorp won the Excellence in Fit-out $5m to $10m for XLCR at Investa’s 120 Collins Street at the 2025 Master Builders Victoria Awards. We also received a Special Commendation in the Fit-out over $10m category, for Australia Post’s Melbourne Support Centre at 480 Swan Street. Located at the corner of Little Collins and Russell Street, the XLCR project saw the delivery of a high-end end-of-trip facility that offers tenants an array of new services – including bike storage and a bike repair station, storage facilities, and change and shower rooms with boutique amenities. We’re extremely proud of the entire project team’s efforts to transform an existing car park into an amazing facility, bringing 120 Collins’ revitalisation to life. On the Australia Post Support Centre project, together with our partners we delivered a transformative new workplace set across eight floors that enables progressive ways of working. This project strengthened our long-standing partnership with Australia Post, with developments across Sydney and Melbourne. We consider this recognition a shared celebration of the expertise, commitment and dedication of all the teams involved. Congratulations to our project partners in delivering these two projects. XLCR partners: Hassell, Investa, Turner & Townsend, NDY, NDYLIGHT, Floreancig Smith Building Surveyors, Jensen Hughes, A.G. Coombs, Aurecon, Rider Levett Bucknall RLB, and our key delivery partners. To mark the milestone, we presented RSM with a Friendship Tree within their new Sky Garden space. Symbolising growth and connection, the tree represents Buildcorp’s appreciation of our partnership and the shared journey in delivering RSM’s new workspace. It was a great opportunity to connect and celebrate the teams who worked together to bring this project to life, and the relationships strengthened along the way. Delivered in partnership with Euroline pty ltd, Generate Property Group, WMK Architecture and Aston Consulting, we look forward to sharing more on this workplace with you in the coming weeks. ANNUAL NSW RUGBY LUNCH 2025 | To mark 25 years of Buildcorp Rugby Lunches and this year’s historic British & Irish Lions Tour, we hosted three back-to-back Rugby, Sports and Leadership events across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney throughout July. At our final event at Crown Sydney, English rugby great Mike Tindall MBE, incoming Wallabies Head Coach Les Kiss, and former British & Irish Lion Dr. Jamie Roberts, shared their perspectives on the current Lions Tour series and hopes for this weekend’s final Test match, moderated by Stan Sport Commentator, Sean Maloney. Ahead of the final Test match this weekend, we were also fortunate to hear from Wallaby Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii and his experience in this Lions Tour. Quantium Chairman Peter Tonagh joined Buildcorp Principal Josephine Sukkar AM for an insightful discussion on leadership, exploring how leaders can navigate the evolving role of AI in business by aligning emerging technologies with organisational purpose, values and culture to foster optimism and opportunity. In our final discussion, former Wallabies Nick Farr-Jones AM, David Giffin and James Horwill reflected on defining moments of the past three Lions Tours to Australia that have shaped rugby history, moderated by Stan Sport and Nine Host, Nick McArdle. Closing the event, we were honoured to welcome Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, to share thoughtful remarks on the unifying spirit of rugby. Thank you to our Sydney community for joining us at our largest Rugby Lunch for the year. 🔗 See highlights here: https://lnkd.in/gPGjE_mS #BuildcorpRugbyLunch #Leadership #Rugby #Construction #Business Photography: Chloe Paul

BUILDING WITH PURPOSE | Buildcorp is honoured to be the building partner for St George Community Housing SGCH and Bric Housing’s project to deliver 152 social and affordable homes in Carseldine Village, north of Brisbane. Delivered in partnership with Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) and with support from Housing Australia’s Future Fund Facility, the development forms part of Brisbane’s Fitzgibbon Priority Development Area and will help address the growing demand for affordable housing in Queensland. This project has been months in the making, with our teams collaborating closely through an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase to shape the design, review buildability, and de-risk delivery – laying the groundwork to move confidently to site. Buildcorp is also proud to contribute to broader social outcomes, with over 2,600 people expected to be inducted on site – including apprentices, cadets and local contractors. Last week, our co-founder and Managing Director Tony Sukkar AM joined project partners on site to mark the official sod-turning. “We know that when we build with purpose and in partnership, we can help create real and lasting change.” We look forward to this project with: SGCH, Bric Housing, Economic Development Queensland, Housing Australia, DKO Architecture and Colab Projects Consultancy #Buildcorp #BuildcorpQLD #NewBuild
