Living Without Boundaries Occupational Therapy provides services across two separate locations within Victoria. Our therapists work with people experiencing challenges associated with Neurodevelopmental and Mental Health conditions. In Eltham, we offer clinic, school and community based services across ages, with Williamstown offering Paediatric Occupational Therapy 0-18 years. We are passionate about helping people in “Getting on with Life” so they can participate in everyday activities that hold true meaning and purpose to them. At the core of our business is a Person – Family Centered approach delivering clinic based and outreach services within the community and local neighborhoods; We uphold the child safe standards here in Victoria along with each family & individual’s personal perspective regarding their healthcare options and choices, we pride ourselves on providing intervention supports and education founded on evidence based practice, whilst employing an individually tailored strengths based approach to all therapeutic interventions. In the pursuit of independence, our mission is to support people in their endeavor to achieve, overall mental/physical health and well-being. Our values are embedded within our 'commitment' to 'person-family centered care' with 'respect for client/family values' supporting 'independent living'.

How to support over stimulation in crowds with furry friends. OT in the community- supporting the Inclusion round brought to the AFL by Variety the Children’s Charity.
We work in a system that is so focused on goals and their attainment, it is often forgotten that maybe… just maybe, the person you are working alongside is happy where they are at and this is where they wish to stay for now. You don’t always have to have a benchmark and be working towards a ‘goal’ in life to be functional - sometimes being content where you are, is enough.
Fionn's is holding up a mirror to the developmental and intellectual disability service system. When did we decide that being in services means you’ve got to be a permanent self-improvement project? That your value is tied to a goal sheet? That you’re only as good as your next measurable outcome? Sure, learning matters. Trying new things matters. But let’s not pretend that always having a goal equals having a life. Support isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about standing beside someone, not standing over them with a clipboard. Maybe what matters most isn’t the next goal, but the person who’s already enough, just as they are. ... ID: Fionnn stands in a city center holding a cardboard sign that reads "Stop asking what my goals are."

We are excited to announce that we will be a Silver Sponsor of the Emerald Evening Gala this year for Walk a Mile in my Shoes! (WAMIMS). Walk a mile continues to raise funds delivering donations nationwide to schools that are in need of developing sensory friendly space for children in need. Mental illness in families impacts everyone involved and children are most vulnerable requiring additional supports within their environments that they attend. I encourage everyone to buy a ticket or two and come along to this amazing event held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne October 18th. 💚 #mentalhealthawareness #sensoryspaces #supportinschools

Had a fabulous time on the panel highlighting the importance of socially inclusive spaces with The Inclusion Project and Hawthorn FC community foundation demonstrating why OTs are champions in the world of sensory regulation supports! If you’re an OT and are looking for a career that also involves being part of community engagement with a difference- hit me up for chat 💬

Footy should be for everyone, and thanks to the Hawks Inclusion Project, it truly can be. 🏉💛 Our client, Jack, absolutely loves footy and cheering on the Hawks, but the noise and big crowds at games could sometimes feel overwhelming. We are so glad to be a part of the Inclusion Project sensory room program as it has been a game changer for Jack and his family. Now, when things get too loud or overstimulating, Jack knows there’s a safe and welcoming space where he can take a break—and his parents can enjoy the game knowing he’s comfortable and supported. If you or someone you know could benefit from a sensory room at the footy, be sure to check it out at the MCG Museum! Just look for the sunflower lanyard and Inclusion Project officers at the gates or register online through the club. We love seeing inclusion in action—see you at the next game! 💙🏉 #InclusionForAll #SensorySupport #HawksCommunity #GameDayForEveryone
