🤩 FibriCheck is now FDA-cleared! We’re happy to announce an important stepping stone in our U.S. development, as FibriCheck’s ecosystem got FDA-cleared! This includes clearance for our patient-facing app, our AI-powered algorithm, and our healthcare provider portal. The FDA-clearance is an important mark that underlines the quality and accuracy of our technology, especially as FibriCheck received its clearance in the same category as smartphone ECG-devices. 💡 AFib Awareness Month: How digital tools empower clinicians Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is the most commonly sustained heart rhythm disorder. By 2060, it is projected to affect 17.9 million people in Europe and 15.9 million in the US by 2050. Yet many cases remain undiagnosed until serious complications such as stroke occur. Patients of the Spaarne Gasthuis can now use FibriCheck within RPM platform Sananet! Thanks to this integration, patients can measure their heart rate and heart rhythm with their own smartphone device. Results are shared immediately with their caregivers via their electronic health record, ensuring thorough follow-up and efficient care management!

🤩 We’re looking back on a great edition of HRX full of insightful discussions on the evolving role of PPG in diagnostics, with many presentations on stage featuring FibriCheck and PPG. Some key takeaways from studies featuring FibriCheck as presented at #HRX2025: 🚀 A virtual AF ward using the FibriCheck app proved clinically safe, reduced hospital stays and readmissions, improved patient/staff satisfaction, and can save the NHS over £200k in one year. 🚀Several studies showed that FibriCheck has comparable accuracy (99.8%) in detecting AF recurrence and even surpassing yield compared to conventional monitoring (25.7% vs 5.4% AF recurrence detected after AF ablation) As we reflect on HRX, one thing is clear: PPG is shaping the future of diagnostics.
