Not all residues are created equal. Meet the invisible threats. In hygiene, what you don’t see is often what matters most. Grease, blood, starch, proteins, biofilms… They may all look like "dirt" on the surface, but in reality, each one behaves differently and needs a different cleaning approach. Here’s why the right sequence is essential: Cleaning removes dirt, grease, organic residues and biofilms - the visible and invisible stuff that can block the action of disinfectants. Disinfecting kills microorganisms but only if it can reach them. Trying to disinfect a surface that hasn’t been properly cleaned? Why does pH matter in cleaning?
