The S4 methods for x of type matrix,
array, or numeric call
matrixStats::rowMeans2
/ matrixStats::colMeans2.
Returns a numeric vector of length N (K).
matrixStats::rowMeans2() and
matrixStats::colMeans2() which are
used when the input is a matrix or numeric vector.
See also rowMeans() for the
corresponding function in base R.
For variance estimates, see rowVars().
See also the base R version base::rowMeans().
