About us

Arc’teryx is a Canadian company born in the Coast Mountains, where our passion for the outdoors drives us to push the boundaries of performance and durability. We design gear that not only survives extreme conditions but elevates your experience in them. With over 2,400 retail locations worldwide, our impact goes beyond gear—it’s about designing for a better future. What truly sets Arc'teryx apart is the community behind the "Bird." We're more than a team—We're a collective of problem-solvers, makers and explorers, united by a spirit of 'Leave It Better' and a deep respect for the outdoors. From Vancouver to Tokyo, Munich to New York, our teams and culture are bound by this shared purpose. If you're a creative thinker, a skilled maker or a gear expert who thrives on helping others connect with the outdoors, this is where your passion can find its home. Welcome to Arc'teryx, where we design for the wild and for those bold enough to venture into it.

Updates

  • Cypress Mountain gave us everything we needed – adrenaline, reflection, sunshine and sore quads. Arc'Social, a day designed to connect and Live It, brought together employees from Headquarters, ARC'One (our manufacturing facility) and the Design Center to step away from the everyday and reconnect – on the trails and with each other.     There was axe throwing, hikes, a climbing wall and the slightly unhinged eagle coaster. In between, we had conversations about what we're building through learning stations hosted by internal teams across Learning & Development, Employee Belonging Councils, ReBIRD and more.    "The best part was seeing people who don't usually cross paths – sewers, engineers and recruiters – share the trail, stories, and a sense of belonging. When we create intentional space for connection, the rest takes care of itself. That’s the magic of this day.” Renita Manj, Sr. Manager, Employee Experience Events   We came back a little tired, a little muddy and a lot more connected. A good day in every sense.    P.C. • Some roles stretch you. Others shape you. Marissa Ully has done both. She joined Arc’teryx in 2023 as a Store Manager, first launching our Calgary Cross Iron Mills location, then leading the team at Chinook Centre. Today, she works as a Workforce Management Implementation Specialist, still deeply rooted in the retail side of our business. Earlier this year, Marissa was selected for a pilot leadership initiative for our retail teams, supporting the opening of our first mountain store in Banff through the Ridge Runner program. Chosen for her agility, curiosity, and drive to 'Leave it Better,' she stepped in to coach a brand-new team, partner across HQ, and grow her own leadership in the process. “This opportunity pushed me to become a better listener and a more intentional coach," she says. "I learned to tune into what was truly needed and co-create solutions, rather than jumping in with answers." Her story is a reminder that growth doesn't always look like a leap. Sometimes, it's one thoughtful step and the right support – at a time. • As part of their Live It Day, our Chicago Oakbrook retail team spent time hiking Starved Rock with Chief White Winnebago of the Ho-Chunk Nation. This experience was part of an ongoing effort by the team to deepen their understanding of the cultures and histories connected to the land — spending time with local voices, listening and learning. Live It Days are a chance for our teams to step outside the day-to-day; sometimes to reset, reconnect and sometimes to learn. Along the trail, the team helped clear debris and listened as Chief shared stories of growing up on this land, its history and the truths that are often left out. This one was rooted in curiosity and care. A reminder that getting outdoors can also mean looking inward. Photo Credits: Annabelle Broeffle #LiveIt #ArcteryxLife

  • "At the start of the year, I signed up for two races. I ended up doing five."    Aleks, a Product Guide in our Toronto Eaton Centre store, didn't plan on going that far until his Assistant Store Manager, Eimante, and his team, started cheering him on. Every day.    That kind of energy grounded in support, shared momentum and belief can shape more than goals. It shapes careers.    It's one of the many ways our retail teams live what it means to move together.    Want in? https://lnkd.in/dtCFfnay    📹 : Xavier Y. #ArcteryxLife #ArcteryxToronto

  • New ground. Same spirit.

It’s been a whirlwind month for Arc’teryx across the globe, and we’re thrilled to share some incredible milestones. We’ve just opened our very first store in Australia’s capital—Arc’teryx Canberra bringing the mountain spirit to the heart of the city. Over in the UK, we’ve planted our flag in Manchester, our first store outside of London, in a city known for its creativity. In Beijing, we’ve launched the Arc’Lounge inside the iconic Peninsula Hotel—a refined space where community, design, and performance come together. Three bold new doors in three dynamic cities—each one a reflection of what we can achieve together. A huge shout-out to the teams who made it happen. If you’re in the neighborhood, drop by and say hi. We’d love to see you.

  • Arc'teryx Equipment reposted this

“We gained a lot of loyalty from our customers around it and, it just started to kind of sell itself internally” says Katie Wilson, Director of Social and Environmental Sustainability at Arc'teryx Equipment, about ReBIRD, their platform for resale and repair services. In the latest episode of The Circular Economy Show, we head to Canadian outdoor clothing and equipment company Arc’teryx’s flagship store in London to learn more about ReBIRD. Dive into how shifting to circular business models has fostered deeper customer loyalty and made products accessible to new customer bases for the business. • What a weekend. From first light on the glacier to last tracks on the dancefloor, the 2025 Arc’teryx Alpine Academy brought the full spectrum of mountain culture to Chamonix — clinics, community, conversations, films, and beats that carried well into the night. We climbed, we ran, we listened, we danced. Big thanks to all the athletes, guides, artists, participants, partners and everyone who showed up and made it unforgettable. Until next time, keep moving on the trails, on the walls, and on the dancefloor. 📹: El Flamingo Films #ArcteryxAcademy

  • As the ways we work evolve, so should the spaces that shape how we lead, collaborate, and grow. Our new gathering space in North Vancouver was designed to support our teams as they lead, collaborate, and grow across functions. It hosts everything from all-company huddles to friendly climbing challenges, cultural moments, and deep focus work. It reflects our belief that culture is shaped through shared experience, community is built through intention, and innovation happens when people have room to move and connect. We call it The Nest. • We built a space for stillness, sweat, and something more.   A place to stretch, climb, pause. To gather over coffee, or disappear into motion. To reconnect with ourselves, each other, and what’s next.   A few glimpses from something quietly taking shape in North Vancouver – for our people and for the community, culture and innovation we're building together. • Some people join a company to grow a career. Paige Doyle came west to build a life. She didn’t move for a job. She moved for mountains, for alignment, and for something she couldn’t fully name at the time. After COVID, she left Ontario behind and headed toward British Columbia without a mapped-out plan, but with a clear desire for more space, more purpose, and more altitude. She joined Arc’teryx on a temporary contract in Guest Services, where the learning curve is steep, and the pace relentless. It was in that space that she developed the kind of muscle you can’t train for in advance: staying calm under pressure, listening between the lines, and holding people through moments of tension with patience and care. In time, she transitioned into Learning & Development, where she now leads Basecamp – our internal onboarding program for new employees. This month, Paige will run her 50th Basecamp session. She’s helped welcome and orient over 1,300 employees across the organization, shaping not just how people learn, but how they arrive. “Basecamp is about more than onboarding. It’s the first signal of what kind of culture we’re building together.” Her story isn’t linear, and it’s not loud but it’s deeply felt by the people she’s helped guide. At Arc’teryx, we believe leadership shows up in many forms. Paige’s form is steady, grounded, and built on care. And through every session, she helps others begin their own path here — with intention. If you're looking for rhythm, purpose and room to grow, we're always welcoming new journeys.
