We’re excited to welcome Kevin Barber as Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Strategy and Submissions. Kevin has 30+ years of experience in regulatory strategy, product development, and clinical development. Throughout his career, he’s supported over 80 development programs, led 100+ INDs/CTAs, contributed to 80+ marketing applications and facilitated 18 product approvals worldwide. Kevin will strengthen our ability to help small and mid-sized biopharma companies navigate complex regulatory pathways. Our Everest Clinical Research team hit the sand this past weekend for another amazing SickKids HEATWAVE Beach Volleyball Tournament! For the past 8 years, we’ve proudly joined this initiative, raising nearly $30,000 to advance critical childhood cancer research and support the SickKids Foundation. Each year, about 320 children are newly diagnosed with cancer at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. This event helps fund the breakthroughs that give children and their families hope for a healthier future. Congratulations to Xuefeng (Max) Ma and Weijie Yang for winning 'Best Paper' at this year's PharmaSUG in San Diego.   Max and Weijie explored how AI can be used to generate realistic synthetic clinical trial data by combining structured metadata, prompt engineering and Pydantic libraries. The outcome is a scalable and automated framework that produces high-quality, compliant datasets to support clinical programming, EDC training, and simulation activities. At Everest, oncology is a core therapeutic area and a true passion shared by our team. Over the past 4 years, oncology studies accounted for 1/3 of our project portfolio across phases 1, 2 and 3, and our experience spans a wide range of indications. We’re proud to support innovative cancer research that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of patients around the world.

After 21 years of dedicated service, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of Rebecca Palencia.   Rebecca has been with Everest Clinical Research since day one—part of the original group of 13 who helped launch Everest in 2004. As a member of our Data Management team, she has played a pivotal role in supporting our growth, office operations, and enabling our success. We are so grateful for her contributions.   Please join us in wishing Rebecca a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement!
