VAULT SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES $200MM A-RATES MORTGAGE-BACKED BOND ISSUANCE! We are pleased to share some exciting news. Yesterday, Vault successfully completed a mortgage-backed bond issuance, a transaction exceeding $200 million and led by Bank of America. The senior tranche of the bond was rated A(high)(sf), one notch above single A. The offering was nearly three times oversubscribed with participation from some of Canada’s largest institutional investors. Importantly, Vault is the first private mortgage lending company in Canada to access this market, which has historically been reserved for banks and trust companies. This milestone has two direct implications for our fund investors: 1. Validation of Credit Quality and Value for Fund Investors The strong institutional demand reflects the quality of Vault’s mortgages, processes and controls. The same rigorous credit criteria applied in this bond issuance underpin the mortgages in our funds, underscoring why Vault’s fund returns represent compelling mispriced risk. 2. Enhanced Liquidity & Resilience While many mortgage lenders are struggling—some even gating investor redemptions—Vault continues to strengthen its treasury and broaden its investor base. This issuance is an evolution of our existing securitization platforms, which we have for all Vault products, and further demonstrates the liquidity of our portfolios. Our securitization facilities have always complemented our funds. Vault’s conservatively underwritten portfolios are built to perform across all economic cycles. Our recent milestones—approval as a CMHC lender last quarter and the successful launch of this bond issuance—underscore both the strength of our portfolios and the discipline of our team.
