Through TEI and its 57 chapters, members have access to tax training, networking with fellow tax professionals, and the ability through advocacy to work with government to improve tax policy and administration.

    TEI membership is open to accountants, lawyers, and other corporate and business employees whose work consists principally of administering taxes on an executive or management level and who meet certain minimum experience requirements. Individuals engaged in public tax practice are not eligible to join TEI.
