We’re thrilled to showcase our amazing Capstone Partner, The WholeSHEBang, and their project: ““The Question Bot: Comprehensive Sexual Health Answers to Any Question.” TheWholeSHEBang worked with a group of UBC Master of Data Science Program Computational Linguistics students (Yi Song, Lingsong Z., Mariana Li Chen, and Yiwen Chen) to develop a Large Language Model (LLM) to generate evidence-based sexual health answers to any student question that they might have. In our weekly capstone project spotlight, we present two projects from HCLTech. Let's #tbt to last week when we welcomed UBC Master of Data Science Program Class of 2026. The 10th cohort of MDS Vancouver and sixth cohort of MDS Computational Linguistics gathered at Jack Poole Hall to meet and greet. Both got introduced to the MDS team, got a program overview, met their section chair, heard about some learning techniques, learning in the age of LLMs, career orientation, and tips on how to succeed in a professional program.
