We are pleased to announce that Matteo Fabiani BSc, MSc and Amar Devit of SKIM will be speaking at our EPHMRA Chapter Meeting in Basel. 📅 Date: Thursday 25th September 2025 | 08:30 – 17:00 Their paper is entitled: ‘From Stated Preference to Real-World Adoption: An Integrated Forecasting Approach’, and will be convened by Fenna Gloggner of Insmed Incorporated. 💡 This paper uses the US MRI contrast agent market as a case study to present a sequential conjoint-based forecasting model, developed in collaboration with a leading global pharma company in radiology and oncology. The model integrates primary HCP preference data with historical sales trends, addressing the limitations of conventional models by simulating how preferences evolve in response to market events (e.g. new product launches, price shifts, or emerging clinical evidence). 📢 Register now, for the 2025 EPHMRA Chapter Meeting here: https://lnkd.in/euHXF6U4

Supporting Young Professionals working in healthcare market research. We're exploring the idea of launching the EPHMRA Young Professional Buddy Scheme, a mentoring initiative designed to offer practical guidance and support. This scheme would be specifically tailored for Young Professionals with fewer than five years of experience in our industry, helping them navigate their careers, define their paths, and build confidence. Our aim is to find experienced professionals like yourself, who would be open to becoming a mentor and sharing their experience and insights. Becoming a mentor could be a fantastic opportunity to directly impact the development of promising talent in our field. Why Become a Mentor? You'll help Young Professionals build clarity and confidence, one conversation at a time. If you've ever thought, "I wish someone had told me that early on," this is your chance to be that person: Mentor Future Leaders: Mentoring isn't about having all the answers, it's about listening, guiding, and sharing what you've learned. Make a Difference Without Overcommitting: You don't need to clear your diary to make a real impact. A few hours spread throughout the year can offer the kind of guidance you wish you'd had early in your own career. Sharpen Your Leadership Skills: Mentoring helps you become a better listener, communicator, and guide. Personal Growth: Mentors often say they learn as much from their mentees as they give. It's a chance to reflect on your own path and values. How the Scheme Will Work The scheme's launch will depend on the level of interest we receive from potential mentors. However, our vision includes: One-to-One Mentoring: Mentees will be paired individually with a mentor, fostering a direct and personalised relationship. Practical Support: Each mentee will receive dedicated guidance from their mentor. The aim is to provide valuable support without creating a burdensome workload for mentors. Commitment: Should the scheme launch, we would ask mentors to commit to guiding one mentee online for approximately 6-8 hours over a 12-month period. Interested in Becoming a Mentor? If you're passionate about nurturing emerging talent and are open to committing to this rewarding experience, please complete our mentor survey (just a few questions). This will help us uncover the profiles of those who can support as mentors as well as help us understand your preferences and expertise. EPHMRA Forecasting Forum - Communicating Forecasts October 17 2025 13:00 – 14:00 UK time This is an online event. We often talk about improving forecast models and processes, but what about improving how we communicate forecasts? Even the most robust forecast loses its value if it isn’t understood, trusted, or acted upon by key stakeholders. This Forecasting Forum will focus on the often-overlooked art of communicating forecasts effectively within organizations. We’ll explore how to present assumptions, ranges, and uncertainty in ways that resonate with cross-functional audiences, and how to tailor the communication depending on the stakeholder, be it commercial, finance, or senior leadership. The session will provide space for participants to share best practices, pitfalls, and lessons learned. We'll discuss how to deal with pushback, how to foster transparency without overwhelming detail, and what it takes to build credibility over time. We look forward to welcoming Verena Schiessl, Freelance Insights & Forecasting Consultant, who will chair the session and kick off the discussion with practical input. Speaker: Verena Schiessl, VS Consulting Target audience: Forecasters, data analysts, BD, Commercial Insight. This session should be valuable particularly for more junior individuals. This is a members only webinar - free of charge. Register here - https://lnkd.in/eKH5VhX9
