First solar installation successfully completed under the “Transizione 5.0” incentive program☀️ Meyer Burger is pleased to announce, together with Unosolare Srl, the successful installation of the first solar system in Italy as part of the Transizione 5.0 incentive program. The photovoltaic system was installed on the rooftop of the headquarters of Vibo Italy SpA in Trissino and supports Vibo Italy SpA in making its energy consumption more sustainable and efficient. The new system, with a capacity of 594.86 kWp, consists of 1,506 Meyer Burger White 395 modules and was specifically designed to meet the requirements of a commercial rooftop installation. ☀️ 150% tax credit for commercial solar projects with Meyer Burger modules in Italy! 🇪🇺 🇮🇹 The Italian government is offering strong incentives for solar projects using solar modules manufactured in Europe as part of the Transizione 5.0 plan. This program supports commercial solar projects and provides a maximum tax credit of up to 150%. And that’s exactly where our solar modules come in! We are proud that our 100% European-made solar modules are the only ones on the market that qualify for the highest funding category C, allowing customers to benefit from the maximum tax credit, covering approximately two-thirds of total project costs. To qualify for this category, solar modules must meet the following criteria: ✔ Manufactured in the EU ✔ Use of bifacial solar cells from the EU ✔ Minimum cell efficiency of 24% As part of the activities for the Italian market, Meyer Burger and full-service provider IBC SOLAR AG have just signed an initial agreement for the supply of "Made in Germany" modules for the Italian market.
