Personnel development is one of our company's core values. With the right foundations in place, we can serve our customers effectively by offering exactly what they need. 👉 That’s why the International Graduate Programme plays such a vital role within our organisation. The idea that business progress stems from personal development is embedded in everything we do. Our subsidiary, E.ON Energy Projects, invests strongly in the growth of young talent. We’re especially proud that they are sponsoring the E.ON International Trainee Alumni Event 2025 for the second time. This event perfectly reflects our belief that genuine progress happens when people connect, exchange ideas, and explore new paths together. Thanks to EEP’s contribution, nearly 200 alumni and current trainees from across the E.ON Group will come together in Warsaw at the end of October to network, get inspired, and explore new career opportunities. 💬 Energising Connections: Inspiring discussions, interactive workshops, and valuable insights will provide a unique platform for young talent and experienced alumni to learn from each other and actively shape the future of E.ON. A big thank you to EEP for making this event possible — and for being such a key part of our vibrant community. We look forward to welcoming many of you to Warsaw! ⚡

This week, we had the privilege to welcome Leo Birnbaum, CEO of E.ON, to our customer ArcelorMittal in Dąbrowa Górnicza – the largest steel mill in Poland and one of the key sites for European steel production. Together with Attila Kiss and Wolfgang Fritzen, as well as Jörn-Erik Mantz and Andrzej Modzelewski, Wojciech Koszuta and Adam Preiss, Leo toured the 8th joint project between E.ON EIS Polska and ArcelorMittal. ✅ The impact? A reduction of 56,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually ✅ The purpose? Making steel production safer, more energy-efficient, and climate-friendly. ✅The vision? Ensuring this vital European industry remains competitive in a world of rising energy and carbon costs. The visit highlighted what we at EIS stand for: the scale of operations we act in, but also the commitment to safety and reliability bundled under our commitment to Vision Zero = safety in all areas. As E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions, we are proud to be a trusted partner to ArcelorMittal, with 40+ joint projects already implemented in Poland and across Europe. Together, we are proving that energy efficiency is the answer to the challenges faced by energy-intensive industries like steel. “I’m very pleased that E.ON Group companies in Poland are actively contributing to energy efficiency improvements in energy-intensive industries. This is a key element of our strategy, especially in the field of sustainable development,” emphasized Leonhard Birnbaum. A big thank you to the entire AMP team for hosting us – and to our EIS colleagues Krzysztof Buczek and Jakub Mędrala for coordinating the visit and supporting our customers on their transition path.

Another milestone to celebrate! 🎉 At Promat by Etex’s production site in Willebroek (Belgium), our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant has now been running successfully for seven years. Designed, built, and operated by our subsidiary E.ON Power Plants Belgium, the plant delivers both electricity and steam with outstanding reliability — last year achieving an availability of ≥97%. 🔋 Key facts • Sector: construction materials • Power output: 3.8 MW via gas turbine – equal to the electricity needs of ~9,000 households • Steam production: up to 29.5 t/h via heat recovery steam generator using the gases from the turbine for Promat’s processes • Total efficiency: >80% • CO₂ reduction: 14,000 tons annually Thanks to its flexible setup, including auxiliary firing that ensures steam generation even if the gas turbine stops unexpectedly , the plant is perfectly aligned with Promat’s production needs and delivers competitive and secure energy. 👏 A big thank you to everyone involved for your effort and commitment in making this partnership a continued success!
