🏆🌍 We are proud to announce that CIRCULAR ERP has won the WorldStar Packaging Award 2025 in the category Digital Packaging! 
Receiving this recognition last week at the ceremony in Milan was a special moment for the entire team at sykell. The WorldStar Award is one of the most prestigious international honors in the packaging industry, and for us, this award shows that digitalisation and sustainability go hand in hand. 
With CIRCULAR ERP, we support other companies in tracking their reusable products, efficiently managing their logistics and transparently recording and documenting their environmental and economic key figures. 
Sustainability must be measurable, traceable and clearly communicable - we work on this every day. 
We also extend our warm thanks to the Deutsches Verpackungsinstitut e. V. (dvi) for the nomination via the German Packaging Award, and for representing such a strong innovation ecosystem in the DACH region.

When we founded our company, did we ever imagine that our products would win awards? Hardly. And yet, in 2024 alone, we received five awards for CIRCULAR ERP and EINFACH MEHRWEG. We never dared to dream that this success would continue in 2025. And yet it has happened again: 🏆 EINFACH MEHRWEG has been honored with the German Award for Sustainability Projects 2025! The prize is awarded by ntv, the DISQ Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität GmbH & Co. KG), and DUP UNTERNEHMER and honors projects that not only promise sustainability but actively implement it. The jury was impressed by our approach to integrating reusable containers into everyday life with a comprehensive deposit system, thereby reducing single-use packaging. 2024 in numbers and in impact. 
Together with our partners, we’ve taken big steps toward making reuse a real, scalable solution. 📦 Since 2023, the use of EINFACH MEHRWEG has replaced 2.3 million single-use packaging units.
🔁 In 2024 alone, reuse systems using our CIRCULAR ERP avoided an additional 1.2 million single-use units.
🌍 Internally, Sykell reduced its own company carbon footprint by 56 %, down to 227 t CO₂e in 2024. Our Impact Report is grounded in life cycle assessments and primary data. We report on our current footprint, resource savings, and potential positive impacts of a well-functioning reuse system. We have won the Green Buddy Award! 🏆💚 What an honor. Our joint project ‘Berliner Wanderpokal’ with Deutsche Umwelthilfe and RECUP was honored with the Green Buddy Award yesterday evening! The award shows how much impact can be achieved when we work together towards one goal: Making reusable packaging easier to use in everyday life and thus actively doing something about single-use waste. Since March, customers in eight REWE stores in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg have been able to conveniently return their Recup reusable cups with the coded sticker via the deposit machines. Quick, easy and sustainable. With EINFACH MEHRWEG, this is possible in all participating stores throughout Germany. A huge thank you to our project partners, to the jury and the Bezirksamt Tempelhof-Schöneberg von Berlin, who selected us, and to our wonderful team in Berlin and Remote, who believe with us that the circular economy can work if you implement it wisely. 🇫🇷 For two days, Paris became the capital of the reuse economy. Thanks to the incredible work of New ERA - New European Reuse Alliance, Zero Waste Europe, and hundreds of pioneering companies, the Reuse Economy Expo 2025 brought together a powerful mix of innovation, purpose, and partnership — all under one roof to shape the future of the Circular Economy. The keyword? Collaboration.
 In times of disruption and uncertainty, real progress comes from those bold enough to work together, build alliances, and move toward a more reliable and regenerative system. We were proud to represent sykell at the event with our booth, and to contribute on stage through our CEO Davide Mazzanti, who led a masterclass on how data enables both sustainable and financially scalable reuse systems. Sykell also joined Avery Dennison, TOMRA and Reposit | Returnable Packaging Platform | B Corp to explore the digitalisation of packaging in a dedicated panel — highlighting how interoperable technologies can drive real system change. A special thank-you to our CIRCULAR ERP clients who joined us at the event and shared their stories and insights. Your work inspires us every day.
