On World Humanitarian Day, we reaffirm our commitment to global solidarity and to ensuring access to essential treatments in the most critical situations. Over the past year, our teams across the globe have actively responded to emergencies ― from flood relief efforts in Brazil and Spain to aid during hurricanes and wildfires in the U.S. ― mobilizing resources and people to bring essential help where it’s needed most. Through long-standing partnerships with organizations like Direct Relief and the World Federation of Hemophilia, we work every day to ensure uninterrupted access to vital medicines in times of crisis and to improve healthcare in vulnerable communities worldwide. Humanitarian aid is built on ongoing commitment, collaboration, and concrete action. Together, we can make a difference. #WorldHumanitarianDay

For decades, opening and emptying plasma containers was a manual process, one that exposed workers to low temperatures or sharp instruments and also risked contamination of the plasma unit. Recognizing the need for a safer, more efficient solution, Grifols developed ABO® and PBO® in the early 2000s, two automated systems that open bottles and bags of frozen plasma, transforming plasma fractionation. By automating the processes of opening and emptying the containers, through plasma thawing and robotic handling, these innovations protect product integrity and worker safety while enhancing efficiency. Today, leading pharmaceutical companies rely on this cutting-edge technology. Automation isn’t just about efficiency—it’s about safety. Learn more 👉 http://spkl.io/6045AJAwH

Voluntary plasma donations make it possible to produce our medicines, which are improving the quality of life of many people. For this reason, plasma donation takes place in highly controlled, safe environments. We have a growing network of centers worldwide. It is in these centers where phlebotomists work. Their role is crucial in the plasma donation process. Today, we invite you to meet Eilleen Cassan, a phlebotomist at a donor center in Winnipeg, Canada. #WeAreGrifols #GrifolsTeam

By ensuring that every part of the manufacturing process works smoothly, we can ensure that we achieve our goal: delivering more medicines to more people around the world.
