By creating growth opportunities for young talent today, we are laying the foundation for tomorrow’s successes,” Firangiz noted. 🚀 𝗧𝗥 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀! Starting July 1, 2025, 33 talented graduates began training under the 𝗧𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 program, implemented by TR in collaboration with KazMunayGas. The 4-year program will cover 120 students: each year, 30 top engineers complete 3 months of online courses and 3 months of practical training in Madrid, participating in international industrial projects. Participants are already involved in strategic projects in Kazakhstan, including the pyrolysis unit of the “Silleno” plant in Atyrau with a capacity of 1.25 million tons of polyethylene per year, strengthening the country’s engineering potential and developing the skills of local specialists. Leading universities are part of the program: Nazarbayev University, KBTU, Satpayev University, Yesenov University, Atyrau Oil & Gas University, and APEC PetroTechnic. 🚀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗚𝗮𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗲𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘁𝘆𝗿𝗮𝘂 On March 31, 2025, construction began in the Atyrau Special Economic Zone for the “Silleno” plant, with an annual production capacity of 1.25 million tons of polyethylene. With investments exceeding USD 7 billion, this project will supply the domestic market, reduce import dependence, and create new export opportunities. The project is implemented in partnership with KazMunayGas, Sinopec Engineering, Sibur Holding, LLP “Silleno,” and Técnicas Reunidas, generating over 8,000 temporary jobs during construction and around 800 permanent positions, with up to 95% of staff and contractors being Kazakhstani 🇰🇿. In April 2025, KazMunayGas Chairman Ashat Khasenov visited the site to review construction progress and assess staff training. “Silleno” will provide polyethylene for pipes, insulation, packaging, and industrial components, replacing up to 90% of imported products. For Técnicas Reunidas, this project demonstrates how international expertise can be combined with local resources and knowledge, as we are responsible for engineering, equipment supply, construction supervision, and staff training. 🚀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮-𝗨𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗸𝘁𝗮𝘂! In December 2023, we signed a memorandum with KazAzot and KazMunayGas - and for us, it is more than just a document. It symbolizes a new chapter in Kazakhstan’s chemical industry 🌟, providing the country with the opportunity to develop domestic production and the region with new job opportunities. The complex will be built in the Aktau Special Economic Zone “Morport” with a design capacity of 1.3 million tons of urea per year and an investment of approximately USD 1 billion. Construction will be completed in 2028, and from the first years of operation, the complex will meet domestic demand and expand the country’s export potential. Urea is a key nitrogen fertilizer essential for efficient and sustainable agricultural development. Currently, Kazakhstan consumes around 70,000 tons of urea per year, nearly half of which is imported, creating dependence on external supplies⚠️  The new complex will address this issue by providing the country with a vital resource for agriculture, reducing import dependence, and creating additional opportunities for export growth. For TR, this project is an example of how international engineering expertise can be combined with local resources. Técnicas Reunidas in Kazakhstan: Key Milestones Técnicas Reunidas began its operations in Kazakhstan in 2020, combining over 60 years of international experience with a deep understanding of the local market. Since then, we have delivered a number of strategically important projects, contributed to the development of industrial infrastructure, and launched large-scale educational initiatives. Key achievements: Strategic projects: FEED and EPC contracts in the oil & gas and chemical industries, including an ethane cracking plant in Atyrau and a fertilizer production project in Aktau. Presence in Kazakhstan: Opening of the TR office in Astana and obtaining a license for engineering and construction services. Talent development: Launch of the TRaiming the Future internship program. 🎓 A few weeks ago, the closing ceremony of the 19th edition of the 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹, offered by ISA Sección Española was held. Técnicas Reunidas collaborates closely with this master's program each year, enrolling professionals who are training in one of the key technical areas of our business. We are proud to have been part of such a special day for our graduates, who have witnessed the culmination of such a challenging yet fruitful period.
