April is mother to Lincoln (age 7) and Grace (age 5) who have both helped her to develop the Big Dog Little Dog content. April's career has always had an educational focus. Prior to founding Big Dog Little Dog, April was a lecturer in dance in UK universities and in her early career she worked as a primary school teacher in the US. She has a PhD in dance with an expertise in human movement analysis and has been teaching yoga for over 20 years in the styles of Ashtanga and Yin yoga.
