Baani Milk Producer Company Limited (Baani MPCL) was incorporated on 11th August 2014 under the provisions of sub-section 2 of section 7 of the Companies Act, 2013 with its Head Office located at Patiala in Punjab.Erstwhile it had been functioning as new generation cooperative since 2010.
Baani MPCL has been built on new concept of Producer Company, wherein the Farmers are the shareholders and manage the entire aspects of Business Enterprise. The concept widely appreciated and willingly supported by the World Bank and NDDB Dairy Services India, as part of the National Dairy Plan.
