I constantly find myself de-constructing advertisements I see on the television, web, billboards, and printed publications. Using the ques provided (everything from the color schemes, music, perspective, timing...), I determine the message, appeal, and target audience. I then imagine a fictitious character representational of the target audience to help me better understand all of the social, psychological, physical, mental, and lifestyle- related factors that shape and influence their particular buying habits.
Understanding these factors are key to effective communication and response. I then imagine real-life scenarios from the buyer’s perspective to assess how the ad/ campaign/ produc.
