Founded in 2008 and based in NYC, NYFEN is a platform and resource of empowerment for independent filmmakers and entertainment professionals to connect collaborate and showcase their work. Its purpose is to spark collaborations and inspire the Indie film community, to produce original and entertaining content while giving back to the local community. NYFEN provides networking opportunities, connections, and film production, cast and crew resources. Membership database and followers have grown to over 2171 members over the past 2 years.
