Whitney Bowman-Zatzkin, MPA, MSR, is a passionate community builder, health advocate, and social media strategist. She is the Director of Flip the Clinic, an initiative started by Thomas Goetz to reinvent the clinician-patient interaction in healthcare and a project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
She started in healthcare 14 years ago as the manager of a medical practice, implementing EHRs, designing patient records, and serving on national boards encouraging maternal-infant health. Most recently, she led the TEDMED Great Challenges Program, also funded by RWJF, curating conversations across an online community of 411,000+ members, encouraging the exploration of health’s t.
