Saudi Arabia launches HUMAIN Chat, first Arabic conversational AI app
ALLaM 34B is the region’s most advanced Arabic LLM, independently verified by Cohere, and trained on a massive Arabic dataset.

HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company dedicated to developing end-to-end artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, has officially launched HUMAIN Chat, a next-generation Arabic conversational AI app powered by its flagship large language model (LLM), ALLaM 34B.
Available on web, iOS, and Android, HUMAIN Chat is debuting first in Saudi Arabia as a national milestone, with regional and global expansion to follow. Built in the Kingdom for the Arabic-speaking world, the app represents a major step in sovereign AI, emphasizing cultural relevance, linguistic equity, and global competitiveness.
HUMAIN Chat is designed for the 400 million Arabic speakers and 2 billion Muslims worldwide who have long been underserved by generative AI. For the first time, users can interact with an AI trained in their language, values, and cultural context.
Powered by ALLaM 34B, the app delivers culturally intelligent responses while closing a historic gap in digital inclusion. Its features include real-time web search, Arabic speech input across multiple dialects, seamless Arabic-English switching, conversation sharing, and full compliance with Saudi Arabia’s PDPL, with all data hosted entirely within the Kingdom’s infrastructure.
“The launch of HUMAIN Chat is a point of pride for Saudi Arabia, marking a historic milestone in our mission to build sovereign AI that is both technically advanced and culturally authentic,” said HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin. “This is not the end state, but the beginning of a journey… The potential is limitless,” he added.
ALLaM 34B is the region’s most advanced Arabic large language model (LLM), independently verified by Cohere and trained on a massive Arabic dataset. Developed by a team of 120 AI experts, half of them women, HUMAIN Chat highlights Saudi Arabia’s growing leadership in artificial intelligence.
Following its Saudi debut, the app will roll out across the region and globally, with users invited to help shape its evolution through real-world use.
