Electrical Package Manager

A leading European data centre delivery partner is seeking an Electrical Package Manager for a major data centre project in Helsinki, Finland. This is a permanent position with a company that is delivering some of the largest and most technically advanced facilities across Europe.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full Electrical Systems package from planning through to completion
• Lead site safety efforts in coordination with project management and HSE teams
• Promote and maintain a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ)
• Manage the project schedule, working closely with the project management team, consultants, and the client
• Monitor and control all costs associated with the electrical package:
• Labour resources (internal team and subcontractors)
• Material procurement and delivery schedules
• Equipment and plant usage
• Variations and valuations
• Ensure all daily site operations are running smoothly and safely
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards on-site
• Supervise subcontractors and monitor workforce levels and output
• Maintain progress tracking systems, including weekly punch list management and resolution
• Submit labour and subcontractor hours for central tracking
• Attend and contribute to project meetings (site coordination, handover, planning, etc.)
• Produce regular internal and client-facing progress and cost reports
• Oversee delivery scheduling and inventory tracking for all materials
• Maintain a photographic diary of project progression
• Carry out all other related tasks as required by the project

Requirements:

• Relevant Electrical qualification (e.g. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering)
• Strong project management experience, ideally within large-scale MEP or data centre projects
• Proven ability to manage large electrical installation packages
• Familiarity with industrial relations and workforce management
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems; understanding of mechanical systems is a plus
• Previous experience in design & build environments
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
