Regulators, corporates, investors, law firms, banks, consultants, public officials, diplomats, and #economic intelligence experts gathered from across #Europe, the #UK, and the #US to debate and shape the future of global investment governance. 🌐⚖️ Co-founded by ESCP Professor David Chekroun and Marina Guérassimova (Chief Editor, Fusions & Acquisitions), the FDI Control Forum featured speakers from the French Treasury, European Commission, German Ministry for Economic Affairs, Spanish Secretariat for Trade, Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy, and the U.S. Department of Defense, confirming the strategic importance of FDI control. 🔽Highlights included: • A Regulatory Plenary Session with international regulators • 12 workshops on topics including AI & Tech, Defence, Energy, Investment Arbitration, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Healthcare & Data, and Corporate Governance • Closed-door sessions under the Chatham House Rule with general counsel, regulators and think tanks • Launch of the FDI Control Association - ACIÉ Special thanks to MEDEF for hosting and to the corporate and academic sponsors whose support extended far beyond funding.
