Which consumer expectations will shape the packaging drinks and food of tomorrow? With CARLIN CREATIVE TREND BUREAU, we’ve spotted 4 major drivers and the signals of 2026 market trends you can’t ignore: ➡️ ENJOYING TOGETHER From “no phone” rituals to formats designed to share, consumers seek casual, fun, spicy emotions and even seniors are claiming their place at the table. ➡️ CARE CULTURE Fruits replace sugar, categories blur with hybrid drinks, and lemon becomes the star flavor. Superfoods and upcycled ingredients continue to grow in popularity, alongside short supply chains. ➡️ TRADITIONAL STATUS No/low alcohol drinks adopt wine rituals, bistro chic nostalgia resurfaces, and consumers look for symbols and mysticism. At the same time, micro-luxury and collectible ultra-luxury editions turn everyday products into status markers. ➡️ CREATIVE EXPERIENCE Personalization continues to appeal strongly. People are willing to spend more on personalized items, and brands are using creative cork designers (bold, colorful, or handcrafted) to stand out. Stay tuned, more insights are coming soon 👀 To learn more: https://lnkd.in/d3VcjzqY #Verallia #PackagingTrends #GlassIndustry

Ever wonder what happens after you toss that glass bottle in the recycling bin? 🤔 Spoiler: it doesn’t just disappear. Let’s take a look behind the scenes. Your bottle heads to a sorting and cleaning facility for a mini spa day — washed, scrubbed, and sorted by colour (yes, glass has a dress code). During the process, anything that doesn’t belong (aka the party crashers) gets kicked out — like porcelain, plastic caps, and metal rings. The result? Clean glass cullet (aka recyclable glass), ready to become a brand-new, iconic bottle. Want to be a recycling rockstar? ✔️ Rinse your bottles ✔️ Remove caps and lids ✔️ Only put glass packaging in the bin. Want to know more? 👁 A bottle that glows in the dark? Yes, really. Behind that luminous gaze lies a story of Asian inspiration and bold packaging choices, born from the collaboration between Tarsier Southeast Asian Spirit and Verallia UK. Crafted with 58% recycled cullet, the black glass becomes the backdrop for a jungle-inspired design, blending delicate bamboo, embossed leaves… and a tiny creature with big eyes - the Philippine tarsier - brought to life with a glow-in-the-dark detail. A bottle that tells the tale of a gin infused with the flavours of Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam and of a brand that dares to stand out on the shelf with its glass packaging. Apprentices are an essential component of Verallia’s success. They play an active role on a daily basis, bringing their passion for the glass sector to life on the ground. During National Apprenticeship Week, Verallia UK took the time to celebrate those who already contribute every day, while building the skills needed for long-term careers in the glass industry. This year also marked the launch of the STAR Awards (Special Thanks And Recognition) to honour the dedication, progress, and outstanding efforts of our apprentice engineers. 👏 A big congratulations to this year’s STAR winners: Alex Dulay, Apprentice Machine Maintenance, Leeds plant Matthew Langton, Apprentice Electrician, Knottingley plant. At Verallia, we’re proud to invest in their growth and provide a hands-on, supportive environment. Because the future of glass starts with them. #Verallia #Apprenticeship #GlassIndustry #Teamwork

[Passionate about glass. Inspired by you.] “The Montblanc plant will always be my factory - the one I saw grow, and the one that helped me grow” The inspiring story of Gloria Martorell, Customer Service Manager – Montblanc, Spain 🇪🇸 At Verallia, I found more than a job. What started as a challenge in 1996 has become my life. My passion for glass flows through everything I do. I carry it with me - and share it with those around me. 🌱 I joined Verallia part-time as secretary to the construction director. Then came new responsibilities: management, admin, even environmental tasks. Step by step, I found my path - and a place to grow. 👩💼 Today, I’m Customer Service Manager, working with top-tier clients in the Water and Beer market. I’ve grown with the factory - and with the people around me. Together, we’ve shared projects and milestones… and more than one paella! 💪 At Verallia, I gained more than skills - I gained confidence. I became a mother, got involved in my community, and when the opportunity came to lead a workshop, I applied without hesitation. Many years have passed, but I still have ideas to share - and many tons of glass to sell! Maybe even a few things to learn from Artificial Intelligence too. 😉 Discover her inspiring story ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/dUBuBPJB #Verallia #InspiringStories #CareerPath #PeopleFirst #Leadership #GlassIndustry
