Full Stack Web Developer

Overview:

Terra Robotics, an innovative Agri-tech startup based in Thessaloniki, Greece, is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Full Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining our Web and HMI applications, as well as designing and implementing robust backend systems and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of expertise, including front-end development with React and Flutter, backend development with FastAPI and databases, and cloud technologies. This position requires extensive technological knowledge, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker containers, and cloud platforms (e.g GCloud) and the willingness to participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using React.
• Build and deploy cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and/or React.
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend APIs using FastAPI or similar technologies.
• Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries (SQL/NoSQL).
• Deploy and manage applications and infrastructure on cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to define and implement software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web and mobile development technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.  
• Proficiency in front-end development using React and Flutter.
• Strong experience in backend development using Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) and containerization (Docker).
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Flutter and Python.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in all phases of application development: requirements analysis, proof-of-concept, validation, and MVP release.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast pacing Start-up environment.
