Full Stack Web Developer

Valmore Technologies is a young, ambitious, and flexible team that develops web applications in direct collaboration with an affluent American company, specializing in food safety data analytics. We are constantly looking for partners that love computer science and web technologies, with whom we will be able to grow together.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with Product Owners and UI/UX designers to understand, define and finalize requirements, and come up with development estimates
• Design and build advanced browser-based applications
• Get involved with both backend and frontend development to support software delivery
• Configure database structures and link to backend services
• Develop services for our APIs
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Perform research to evaluate and adopt new technologies and platforms to maximize development efficiency

About you:

• You are a problem solver – you do not just come back with questions. You analyze the situation, consider possible solutions, and come up with suggestions where possible.
• You are a team player - the work of others is not only their concern, just as your work is not only yours.
• You love computer science, and you like to learn new things. A nice day at work is a day when you made something that until now you did not know how it could be done (or that it was possible).

Required experience/skills:

• At least 2 years of prior experience in web development and Javascript in particular
• Essential Stack skills: JavaScript/JQuery, React.js, Node.js, MongoDB
• Nice-to-have Stack skills: Electron, Go, PHP, Laravel, MySQL, React Native
• Essential Tools skills: Git, Jira, Slack
• Nice-to-have Tools skills: Docker, AWS
• Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates
• Excellent knowledge of English and Greek languages
