🚀 Java Developer (AI Tools) – Athens (X4 roles)

For a fast-growing tech startup in Athens, building cutting-edge AI-powered digital and payment solutions. To strengthen their development team, we’re looking for a Java Developer with experience in the latest Java versions and AI-driven tools to design and build scalable, secure, and innovative systems.

🔍 What you’ll do

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications with the latest Java features.
• Build and optimize payment flows, APIs, and transaction services.
• Integrate AI-driven tools for code quality, performance optimization, and testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure best practices in clean code, security, and scalability.
• Stay updated with new Java releases, AI frameworks, and emerging fintech tech.

🎯 What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+ (or the latest LTS release) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with databases (SQL & NoSQL).
• Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, or automated testing AI tools).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in a startup environment.

💡 Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kotlin or Scala.
• Experience in payment platforms, PSP integrations, or fintech systems.
• Background in AI/ML integration into production systems.
