Mid Java Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a talented Mid Java Software Engineer to join our engineering team. We are particularly interested in highly motivated individuals who want to build reliable, high-quality platforms and applications for our European and US clients. You’ll be part of a collaborative team contributing to the design and implementation of modern, pragmatic architectures using up-to-date technologies.

What You Will Do:

• Design, implement and maintain Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
• Write well-designed, efficient and testable code
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
• Work with Spring Boot or Java EE frameworks to develop and maintain services.
• Prepare and produce software component releases
• Develop new features and support existing ones according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.

Qualifications & Core Skills:

• Solid knowledge of Java fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Java EE (experience with other frameworks is a plus).
• Experience with Java Enterprise Tooling.
• Good knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS); NoSQL experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of code version control tools (Git).
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Good understanding of software testing and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with HTTP semantics and modern authentication/authorization methods.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Team player with good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of features or modules in a dynamic environment.
