€4,000 - €6,000 per month (gross)

As a Principal Frontend Engineer, you will play a central leadership role within the Technology department. You will help teams craft elegant, high-performance frontend solutions in response to real business challenges, drive code quality, oversee architectural decisions, and mentor fellow engineers. Though you're primarily a strategist, you’ll also regularly write production-level code, lead by example, and act as a bridge between architecture and development teams.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Designing, developing, and iterating on frontend solutions using modern tooling and architectures
• Ensuring code is modular, reusable, testable, and high-performing
• Debugging performance issues and optimizing applications (e.g. using Lighthouse, Chrome UX tools)
• Participating in technical analysis and collaborating with UI/UX designers to deliver exceptional user experience
• Influencing multiple engineering teams and mentoring engineers on advanced technical topics
• Being the main liaison between architecture leadership and development teams, safeguarding development practices and standards
• Challenging existing architectures, proposing improvements, and driving change
• Languages / Frameworks: Vue.js 3, TypeScript, VueX, Pinia
• Styling / UI Tools: Tailwind
• Build / Bundling: Webpack, Vite
• Testing / Component Libraries: Storybook, Jest, Vitest
• Architectural Patterns: Micro frontends, shared internal libraries, modular architecture
• Deployment / Infrastructure: Openshift, private npm packages

What You Bring

• Deep understanding of frontend frameworks, state management, and rendering engines
• Experience with SPA architectures and browser-to-backend communication (APIs, BFFs)
• Familiarity with modern browser APIs (service workers, MutationObserver, ResizeObserver)
• Experience debugging and optimizing performance in production
• Experience or interest in server-side rendering or integrating frontend with backend in edge contexts
• Exposure to mobile or hybrid development (e.g. React Native, Ionic) is a plus
• Strong mentoring/leadership skills
• Excellent English communication (written & spoken)
