Our development team here at DigiTech Marketing is expanding, and we are searching for a skilled Python back-end developer to join our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs using FastAPI and managing data persistence with Postgres for the iGaming industry.

As a Python developer, you will implement new features and maintain existing code using FastAPI and other standard tools in the Python ecosystem, such as SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and Docker.

Your duties will include designing scalable software solutions, optimizing database queries, writing tests, and fixing bugs.

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities a Python developer is expected to assume in their position:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI
• Build, optimize, and maintain Postgres database schemas and queries

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices
• Implement and maintain authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT,
  
  

OAuth2, etc.)* Troubleshoot API issues and debug application logic

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs into web and mobile apps
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Deploy and maintain applications in development and production
  
  

environments (Docker, CI/CD pipelines)

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python (3+ years) and understanding of the Python ecosystem
• Experience with FastAPI (or other Python web frameworks such as Flask/ Django)
• Experience with Postgres and knowledge of SQL optimization
• Familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM libraries
• Knowledge of Alembic or other migration tools for database schema management
• Familiarity with RESTful API principles and best practices
• Understanding of authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth2)
• Experience with containerization and deployment tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
• Familiarity with Git repositories and version control best practices
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Pytest
• Understanding of software design principles and common programming paradigms (OOP, async programming)
• Experience in iGaming industry will be considered a plus
