Technologies We Use

Our primary technology stack revolves around Python for backend development, primarily leveraging Django and Django REST Framework. On the frontend, we use modern JavaScript (ES6) and React. PostgreSQL forms the backbone of our database infrastructure. We use Kubernetes and favor serverless architectures. Depending on specific project requirements, we also utilize Node.js, Express, Angular, Vue.js, and other languages and tools as necessary.

Your Role at Cyber Emphasis

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components and APIs using Python and Django
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Implement security and data protection measures in all backend processes
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability in a cloud environment
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and continuous integration practices
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to team meetings
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer
• Expert knowledge of Python and Django/Django Rest framework
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern software engineering best practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently as well as within a team

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with other backend languages and frameworks
