Position Overview

WebOlution is seeking a Junior PHP Developer with programming knowledge in Laravel to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for programming and web application development, eagerness to learn new technologies, and determination to achieve project goals. Core responsibilities include the development and evolution of web applications using PHP frameworks (primarily Laravel), as well as the design of RESTful APIs. The successful candidate will also participate in the development, maintenance, and optimization of websites and custom applications.

Technologies We Use

• CMS & Frameworks: WordPress, WooCommerce (plugins), Drupal, Laravel, Symfony

• Web Services: RESTful APIs, JSON, XML

• Frontend & Backend Tech: Node.js, Vue.js, React, Sass, Less, Python

• Development Automations: Git versioning systems

• Editors/IDEs: PHPStorm, Dreamweaver

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a digital agency or relevant environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Solid knowledge of PHP (OOP/MVC architecture), MySQL, and experience with Laravel

• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

• Familiarity with graphic editing tools (Photoshop, Figma, GIMP)

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-structured code

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Portfolio or demo projects

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic knowledge of version control tools (Git)

• Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony)

• Experience with Composer, npm, Sass, Less

• Understanding of Webpack, ES6, WebSockets

• Previous internship or work experience in a similar role
