  • ☀️ Keeping Cool: Summer Wellness Initiative at Our Sites  As the temperatures rise this summer, we are committed to ensuring the well-being of our team across all construction sites and offices. To combat the heat, we have arranged a range of heat relief measures: 🥥 Workers are enjoying refreshing distributions of coconut water and fresh watermelon.  🍦 Special ice cream day provide much-needed breaks during work sessions. Going beyond just cooling treats, Chinese medicine experts visited to teach simple acupoint massage techniques that help with heat tolerance. Teams also got helpful reminders about taking proper breaks when the "Heat Stress Warning" is in effect. These thoughtful initiatives are ensuring that everyone stays safe and comfortable while keeping our projects on track. Let's stay cool and productive this summer! 💪 #SummerWellness #HeatRelief #WorkplaceSafety #HealthyWorkplace

  • Proud to be part of this milestone achievement at Kwu Tung Station! Our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated project team and MTR Corporation Limited for their unwavering support and collaboration. Together, we're turning innovative construction solutions into reality, contributing to Hong Kong's railway development.   #KwuTungStation #RailwayDevelopment #DfMA #BuildingForTheFuture

The Kwu Tung Station on the East Rail Line is on track for its topping-out milestone by year-end, having completed critical structural works layer by layer in under 300 days. This remarkable achievement was made possible by the extensive adoption of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA), overcoming challenges such as constructing above an operational railway within a confined workspace From the early planning stage, the MTR project delivery team identified key structural components - including beams/slabs, staircases, ventilation ducts, and overhanging structures - for DfMA implementation maximizing its benefits:   ✅ Safety - Reduced high-risk on-site work in constrained zones ✅ Quality – Standardized prefabricated components to ensure precision and consistency  ✅ Efficiency – Enabled parallel off-site prefabrication and on-site assembly ✅ Sustainability – Minimized on-site pollution, lowering carbon footprint The success at Kwu Tung Station demonstrates our commitment to innovative engineering solution that will shape the future of Hong Kong's railway development   #NewRailwaysGoBeyondBoundaries #NorthernLink #KwuTungStation #DfMA

  • <Building for 70 Years> Pacific Place Phase II project 🏢️    As Dragages Hong Kong's first major project following our integration with Bouygues Group in 1986, Pacific Place Phase II stands as a testament to technical excellence and innovative construction methods in Hong Kong's heart.   This landmark development, comprising luxury hotels, prime offices, and retail spaces, showcased groundbreaking construction techniques. We pioneered the "top-down" construction method on an unprecedented scale in Hong Kong, enabling simultaneous development of underground works and above-ground structures. Our innovative use of the table form system achieved an impressive four-day-per-floor pace, completing two hotel towers in just 13 months.   While building this modern landmark, our team took special care to protect a magnificent century-old Banyan tree, creating a tailor-made protective shelter to ensure this living heritage remained untouched throughout construction - proving that progress and preservation can coexist harmoniously. 💚    This project marked the beginning of a new era, combining Dragages' local expertise with Bouygues' international experience, setting new benchmarks in urban construction excellence. 📷: Swire Properties  #DragagesHK70 #Throwback #PacificPlacePhaseII #BuildingForLife

  • Celebrating 70 Years of Community Commitment: Dragages Hong Kong Hosts Movie Day for Local Youth 🎬 Dragages Hong Kong has been a part of the community for 70 years. Beyond building infrastructure, we are dedicated to bringing warmth and joy to our neighborhood. To celebrate this commitment, we invited over 50 students from The Hub Children and Youth Center to join us for a special movie day, marking the start of their summer vacation.   Upon arrival, each child received a welcome pack, setting an exciting tone for the day. We then enjoyed a selection of space-themed movies, sharing dreams and aspirations. After the films, our volunteers engaged with the children through interactive games, filling the space with energy and laughter. The genuine connections formed during these moments highlighted the power of simple acts of kindness. A special thanks to our CSR team and all the volunteers who made this day possible. These moments strengthen our community and reaffirm our commitment to "Building for Community" for the past 70 years. #CommunityEngagement #GivingBack #DragagesHongKong #BuildingConnections #CommunitySpirit

  • 🎉 Milestone Achievement: Ground Floor Slab Completion at Kwu Tung Station We are pleased to announce the completion of all ground floor slabs at our Kwu Tung Station site, marking a significant milestone in the project as of yesterday.  From building our first MTR station 50 years ago to now approaching to building MTR’s 100th station - Kwu Tung Station — we remain committed to delivering sustainable, world-class infrastructure. To our dedicated team members, partners, and stakeholders: thank you for your continuous support in building connections for Hong Kong's future. #KwuTungStation #Construction #MilestoneAchievement #DragagesHongKong #MTR

Kwu Tung Station is advancing steadily, with the ground floor slab completed, paving the way for topping out by year-end. Since September 2024, our team has completed critical civil works, including platform slab, concourse slab, and ground floor slab in less than 300 days. Design for manufacture and assembly is widely applied to reduce traditional in-situ construction costs. This application of new technology and innovation boosts safety, efficiency and quality, while also resolving a major project challenge of extremely restricted works area.    The superstructure of the station including station entrances and staircases will commence construction upon the ground floor slab completion. We are on track to top out the station structure and complete the installation of Platform Screen Doors by the end of this year, then it is full speed ahead toward our 2027 completion goal.   #NewRailwaysGoBeyondBoundaries #KwuTungStation #FullSpeedConstruction #ToppingOutinQ42025
