Indonesia is the country with the second-largest Muslim population in the world. However, ironically, the Quran illiteracy rate in Indonesia continues to rise, reaching 72.25% in 2022. One contributing factor is the scarcity of Islamic religious teachers in Indonesia. Data from Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (BKPRMI) estimates that there are only around 928,000 Islamic religious teachers, while the required number is approximately 2 million to teach in various Quran learning centers across Indonesia. This is partly due to low wages; around 40% of Islamic religious teachers still receive very low pay. Through this initiative, Flip, a money transfer application that also has a donation feature, aims to encourage the public to give alms by reciting Quranic verses and simultaneously donate through the "Sumbang Sambung Ayat" feature in the Flip application. Thus, in addition to striving to increase interest in reading the Quran, Flip also invites the Muslim community to collectively complete the recitation of the entire Quran throughout Indonesia during Ramadan, while also supporting the sustainability of Quran learning in Indonesia. #FlipI #SumbangSambungAyat #SemuaBisaBerkah
