✨ 9th Foundation Day Celebrated at IIT dhArwAD ✨ IIT dhArwAD celebrated its 9th Foundation Day on 28th August 2025 at the Central Learning Theatre, Permanent Campus. The event was graced by Prof. Shiva Prasad, Ex-Professor of Physics, IIT Bombay & Ex-Professor In-charge, IIT Dharwad, as the Chief Guest. His inspiring address emphasized that education should be playful, rooted in basic sciences and natural movements, acknowledging changes, fostering the ability to think, and encouraging self-study. He highlighted that education is more than just education – it is about enabling capacity, nurturing thought processes, and cultivating scientific thinking. Director, Prof. VenkappayyA R. dEsAi, shared a specific report highlighting the progress of IIT dhArwAD and outlining the institute’s continued focus on excellence in education, research, and innovation. Awards were presented to outstanding students in recognition of their academic excellence and achievements, motivating the student community to strive further for success.
