Ever since its inception on May 26, 1989, JNP has charted India's international trade to a glorious course of success and achievements, breaking all records and creating new benchmarks, JNP is the biggest container handling Port in India, handling around 55% of total container handled by all Major Ports in India. Located at 18 degrees 56' 43" N (latitude) and 72 degrees 56' 24'' E (longitude) Land Area is 3000+ hectaresHandles containers, liquid bulk & cement shipsHas four dedicated container terminals namely JNPCT, DP WORLD, GTIPL and NSIGT. In addition, there is one liquid cargo berth and shallow water berth. JNPA concluded another week of impactful initiatives and collaborations. An MoU was signed between JNPA and VPPL with TUTR Hyperloop Pvt. Ltd. in the esteemed presence of Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Under its CSR initiatives, JNPA extended assistance of ₹15.16 lakh to Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya and Jr. College, Panchwad.
