Hackers have found a genius loophole, and they're using Apple's OWN SERVERS to send you perfectly legitimate-looking phishing emails. They create a fake event (e.g., "URGENT: $599 PayPal Charge"). They add your email to the invite. Apple’s system AUTOMATICALLY sends the invite from its official noreply@email.apple.com domain. It passes EVERY security check (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Your email client trusts it 100%. You're not being hacked by a random email. You're being hacked by Apple's own infrastructure. This is a wolf in sheep's clothing. 🚨 Hackers are now hiding malware inside JPEGs — and tricking people into pasting commands straight into Windows File Explorer. Yes, you read that right. What started as a quirky proof-of-concept is now a global campaign delivering the StealC infostealer. A few months ago, researchers showed that Windows File Explorer can interpret pasted text as a command. Threat actors wasted no time. What began as “FileFix” demos has matured into full-blown phishing operations — polished lures, layered payload concealment, and now, steganography. Victims land on phishing pages disguised as Meta (Facebook) security alerts. A button says “Copy.” Instead of harmless text, it places an obfuscated PowerShell command in your clipboard. When pasted into File Explorer, it looks like a file path……but silently runs malware. 🖼️ Why a JPEG? Because no one suspects a picture The command fetches a JPEG file from Bitbucket. But this isn’t just an image. Hidden inside are encrypted and compressed payloads. The script pulls them out, decrypts with RC4, decompresses with gzip, and unleashes the real malware. FileFix is no longer a curiosity — it’s an industrialized attack chain. And the creative use of steganography shows how threat actors continuously find ways to weaponize even the smallest quirks in everyday systems. Researchers have exposed Villager, an AI-native penetration testing framework that some already see as the heir to #CobaltStrike. Unlike traditional red-team tools, Villager fuses retrieval-augmented AI prompts, containerized Kali toolchains, and an orchestration layer to plan and execute attacks almost entirely on autopilot. #Villager isn’t just another open-source experiment. It’s packaged on PyPI, downloaded over 10,000 times in two months, and engineered with features that make forensic response difficult — from ephemeral 24-hour containers to randomized SSH ports. This dramatically lowers the barrier for less-skilled actors to run complex operations at scale. For organizations, the implications are serious. It signals the rise of what is known as AI-powered Persistent Threats (AiPTs) — adversaries who combine generative AI reasoning with automated exploitation. That could mean: Faster reconnaissance and exploitation cycles than defenders can adapt to. Greater risks in CI/CD and developer environments, where packages like this may be casually installed. 🚨 1.5 BILLION PACKETS PER SECOND 🚨

Yes, you read that right — FastNetMon just detected one of the most aggressive packet-rate DDoS attacks ever disclosed. A European DDoS scrubbing provider was hammered with a 1.5 Gpps UDP flood launched from 11,000+ compromised IoT devices and routers. 

This wasn’t about raw bandwidth (like Cloudflare’s recent 11.5 Tbps event) — this was about sheer packet velocity, engineered to exhaust control planes and forwarding engines.
 1️⃣ Attackers are shifting from bandwidth saturation → packet-rate exhaustion. 
2️⃣ CPE/IoT devices remain a global weak link, fueling botnets at scale. 
3️⃣ ISP-level filtering is no longer optional — it’s a survival requirement.
 4️⃣ Scrubbing centers must evolve to handle multi-Gpps bursts with ASIC/FPGA-level mitigation. This is indeed a preview of the new normal in DDoS. Defense strategies must pivot from thinking in Tbps to thinking in Gpps.
