Objective of this project is to develop a temperature and humidity monitoring device, incorporating the wireless technique to achieve greater level of control over the parameters. This project deals with the wireless indicator of temperature and pressure on to the transmitter section and sending this data to the receiver section via the RF module through the antenna. The range of transmission is approximately 30 meters, and the standard transmission frequency is 433MHz. The sensed data is displayed on the LCD. When the range of temperature and humidity exceed the set point, then this data is sent wirelessly to the receiver section for the purpose of indication. The indicator used is a buzzer and led. The buzzer beeps when any of the parameter exceeds the set point, and the respective LED glows. In this manner we come to know about the change in parameters.
Resistive type Humidity sensors and LM35 series of precision integrated-circuit temperature sensors (which shows a rise of 10 mV per degree centigrade) are required to sense the parameters. The Power is supplied to the circuit through the power supply unit which comprise of the transformer, bridge rectifier, smoothening capacitor and a voltage regulator. The sensor values are controlled by the Microcontroller for which ATMEGA16 Microcontroller is used which has an inbuilt ADC in it. Port A serves as the analog inputs to the A/D Converter. Microcontroller is interfaced with a seven segment LCD display.
Project involves a Wireless transmission of data, which utilizes RF module. The range of transmission is up to 30 meters.The set point is adjusted to 40 degree centigrade for Temperature and 80 for Humidity, once the sensed values (anyone or both) reaches the set point the relay gets activated and the control element which is a dc fan in our project is initiated. This data is sent to the receiver section through RF link and antenna to indicate the status of the controlling element using a Buzzer alarm and LED.Other creators -

The Water Level Sensing Section senses the level of water in the tank and sends it (wireless) to the Receiver Section. For the transmission and reception of data, encoder-decoder pair of ht12e and ht12d are used. Both of them are CMOS ICS working voltage ranges from 2.4 to 12v. The oscillator resistances are chosen according to the datasheet. When water level rises, the data pins of the encoder will be grounded corresponding to the level of water, which will be transmitted to the receiver via ASK RF module. The received data is decoded by the decoder ht12d. Led on the receiver indicates that it is receiving data. Then the data is given to the controller for processing.
When the water level becomes very low, the motor will turned on, buzzer sounds and the LCD backlight will automatically turned on for 5 seconds. After this, when the water level reaches full level, the motor will automatically turned off, buzzer sounds and the LCD backlight will automatically turned on for 5 seconds.
