Domain expertise and the ability to articulate are so important for marketers. These are the foundation of everything you do in marketing, irrespective of channel(s). They matter because - You need to understand your industry to communicate effectively. It helps you connect with your audience and build trust. But how do you develop domain expertise if you are new to the industry? Talk to customers and internal teams and read industry reports and publications. The next part of this equation is articulation. Articulation is not just about presenting information clearly, it's about presenting it in a way that inspires action. It's the difference between a message that is heard and one that is acted upon. This comes in handy when you write customer success stories, blogs, or any product marketing collateral.
