Idea :

The consumption of electricity on refrigeration is significant and comprises of the major portion of domestic use. Also refrigeration load is evenly distributed over twenty-four hours of the day. The idea is shifting of this evenly distributed load from peak load period to off-peak period by adding a planar Phase Change Material (PCM) to an existing Refrigerator.
