Reworked on problem areas and changed the topic of research to re-fracturing treatment for stimulation of Frac Wells in Hydraulic Fracturing process. (After I found a better prospect in the later project due to data of the former one)

Organized Research Festival at the campus.

Meanwhile helped 1000s od students to get guidance for their Study Abroad Dreams. Realised a big gap in the Market.

Dropped out of PhD in final year to pursue my passion in solving the problem in Ed-Tech space.

Description - Carbon capture and storage can simply be defined as capturing of waste CO2 from industrial sources at various stages (ex. pre-, post- combustion etc.), transporting it to a storage site (through pipelines etc.) and then depositing it underground so that the CO2 will not re-enter the atmosphere for a geologically significant long time. Because of the low prices of fossil fuels and lesser statutory restrictions in developing countries (which are primarily dependent on this form of energy), aided by slow development and high cost of alternative energy projects, the CO2 emission into the atmosphere has been ever increasing. The long lasting effects of such high levels of CO2 in atmosphere can portray an image of an impending catastrophe but a better approach would be to avoid those and look into the solutions to minimize the CO2 levels in atmosphere.
This introductory chapter offers an insight into the technologies.

    Pages- 301-314

Description - Guar, a small bean grown in Indian subcontinent has become a prized international commodity, since the rise of Hydraulic Fracturing on international level. Guar gum plays a crucial role in the fracturing process. Its dispersibility in water and mineral oil assist in pushing fracturing fluid through solid rock to reach petrochemical deposits of earth’s crust. Though India accounts for 80% production of the world’s total guar cultivation, but still it couldn’t take the advantage, as only 10% of the production is used in India and rest 90% gets exported to oil and gas industries in outside countries. The reason is the extensive use of Guar gum and its derivatives as fracturing fluids in other countries. Hydraulic fracturing allows the producers to safely recover oil and gas resources from deep reserves. The intent of this paper is to introduce this efficient Hydraulic fracturing technology in the extraction of shale gas and few oils too, considering the vast shale deposit as well as guar in India, opening the vast unassessed energy reserve.

  • Smart & Gamified Waste Segregation System – A Design Thinking Project

    Objective:
To design a smart, interactive, and incentivized waste segregation system that encourages users to dispose of waste correctly at the source through design-led behavior change.

    Objective:
To design a smart, interactive, and incentivized waste segregation system that encourages users to dispose of waste correctly at the source through design-led behavior change.

    ---

    🔍 Problem Tackled
Urban waste segregation remains poor due to non-interactive bins, lack of awareness, and unengaging disposal environments. Our solution reimagines waste disposal by making it smart, gamified, and community-driven.

    ---

    💡 Our Solution
We conceptualized a triplet bin system with distinct features to simplify and improve waste segregation:

    - Visual Differentiators: Each bin is uniquely colored and named for clear identification (e.g., plastic, wet, metal waste).
    - Smart Sensors: Integrated with proximity sensors, moisture detectors, plastic and metal identification, and fill-level indicators.
    - User Guidance: Sensors help indicate the correct bin for each type of waste in real-time.
    - Gamification:
    - Correctness Meter for individual user feedback
    - Community Leaderboard to encourage collective participation
    - Incentives like coupons or points for accurate waste disposal

    ---

    🛠️ Prototyping Approach
We planned to create a rough prototype using Red Bull cans, paper bags, paints, sticks, and markers.
    - The bin’s outer covering was designed using paper wrappers from lunch food packets, promoting reuse and sustainability.
    - Each bin included a sample item on the brim to visually demonstrate what should go inside.

    ---

    🌍 Deployment Vision
Smart bins to be strategically installed in high-footfall locations such as:
    - Petrol pumps
    - College cafeterias
    - Airports
    - Public parks

    ---

This project showcased how design thinking, sustainability, and smart tech can come together to address urban challenges and promote environmentally responsible behavior.
