2025 China-Europe Youth Development Forum 🌍 The 2025 China-EU Youth Development Forum was recently held successfully in the Fengxian District of Shanghai to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and the European Union. With the theme "Green Transformation and Sustainable Development", it brought together over a hundred participants, including youth organizations, leaders, and key members from 22 European countries, as well as young representatives from various fields in China. Intercos Group was honored to be featured as a key example by Frank JI, a representative of the youth in Fengxian. In his speech on the sustainable youth economy, green technology, and the beauty and health industries, Intercos was highlighted for its contributions and achievements in the area of sustainable development. Celebrating kindness and integrity at Intercos China 🤝 Intercos China recently honored 52 outstanding volunteers at the Volunteer Commendation Conference in Shanghai and Suzhou. Among them, two colleagues were recognized for returning lost gold jewelry, embodying the company’s core value of honesty. 🌱 A Concrete Commitment to the Future of the Planet For Intercos, sustainability is a precise, measurable, and transparent journey. We have embarked on a bold and ambitious path to minimize our environmental impact, based on a few essential steps: ✔️ We thoroughly analyzed the scope 1 and scope 2 CO₂ emissions of our operational sites ✔️ We optimized production processes, chose renewable energy sources, and minimized energy waste ✔️ And in 2024, after implementing every measure to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions at the Tatra Spring site in Garwolin, Poland, and the Intercos Europe site in Romanengo, Italy, we fully offset the remaining emissions by supporting a wind turbine development project in Argentina, relying on a trusted partner like South Pole. The two production sites in Garwolin and Romanengo are now certified Carbon Neutral and join the CRB site in Puidoux, which has been carbon neutral since 2022. The project involves the installation of 71 wind turbines supplied by Vestas and Nordex, with a total installed capacity of 223.38 MW. The electricity generated will be fed into Argentina's national grid (SADI), helping to reduce fossil fuel-based energy production and the associated greenhouse gas emissions. 🌈 June was Pride Month, a time to remember, reflect, and take action. On the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, together with Work Wide Women, we launched Pride4All, an internal vodcast series created for our people. We began by exploring key moments in LGBTQ+ history and then delved into the evolution and meaning behind the Pride flag.
