The Role:
At Syrup, the Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving client success and fueling team momentum. You’re not just keeping things moving, you’re orchestrating the connection between ideas, execution, and impact. You’ll think a few steps ahead, making sure client needs are anticipated, communication is clear, and no detail is left behind.
This role calls for sharp organization, proactive problem-solving, and a love for building strong relationships. You’ll be expected to learn quickly, adapt often, and run with things without needing your hand held, making confident decisions even when things feel a little fuzzy.
If you thrive on bringing order to complexity, energizing teams, learning new skills, and helping clients feel known, valued, and taken care of, you’ll find endless room to grow and lead here.
Experience Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in:
Managing multiple client accounts and diverse projects simultaneously
Collaborating with account, creative, and technical teams (agency experience a plus)
Working across a range of marketing tactics and tools, such as email, paid media, SEO, content strategy, or marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Meta, Google Ads, etc.)
Required Skills:
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Basic understanding of tools like HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, Pipedrive and Asana (or similar platforms)
Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and priorities simultaneously with poise and precision
Capacity to lead meetings with external clients and internal team members
Fast learner with initiative, able to observe, absorb, and take action without waiting for direction
Comfort working through the unknown and adapting as priorities shift
Willingness to learn new technical skills and tools as marketing evolves
Emotional intelligence to navigate client expectations with clarity
This is the right role for you if:
You naturally build trust with clients and teammates through clear, proactive communication, and you take pride in making people feel seen, heard, and cared for.
You thrive on turning goals into action plans and juggling multiple client needs without letting details slip through the cracks.
People energize you, and you enjoy the rhythm of a day filled with collaborative meetings and impactful conversations.
You’re organized, detail-oriented, and known for following up (relentlessly but kindly).
You’re flexible and quick to adapt; curveballs, shifting priorities, and the unknown don’t throw you off; they bring out your best thinking.
You’re eager to grow through hands-on learning, willing to step into tension when needed, and steady under pressure.
You’re driven by growth, for yourself, for your clients, and for the team you’re part of.
Responsibilities:
Own meeting coordination and communication: Attend and galvanize client meetings, document discussions, clarify next steps, and make sure expectations are fully understood and captured.
Support client needs: Proactively manage client needs, communication, and details that make them feel valued and supported.
Manage project logistics: Assist in setting up new projects, ensuring all deliverables and tasks have the proper details to enable the team to succeed.
Maintain high-quality standards: Conduct meticulous final reviews of deliverables to ensure feedback is addressed and quality benchmarks are met.
Serve as the bridge: Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring information flows clearly, issues are elevated early, and expectations are aligned.
Lead internal and external meeting prep: Coordinate agendas for bi-weekly and quarterly meetings, keeping the team and clients aligned on progress, priorities, and opportunities.
Proactively problem solve: Identify and escalate any quality, process, or delivery issues early, demonstrating ownership and solution-focused thinking.
Keep learning: Stay curious and informed about digital marketing trends and tools, and don’t be afraid to try your hand at something new.
