Oracle PL/SQL Developer APEX/ORACLE FORMS

Job Description

Sword Luxembourg is looking for their future Oracle Developer, with skills in APEX and PL/SQL.

Among an international team with exciting projects, you will be in charge of designing, developing and maintaining client applications based on Oracle technologies. Thus, you will ensure their efficiency, reliability and scalability.

Moreover, you will help the team regarding the continuous improvement of the quality of applications by providing your technical analyzes and your innovative ideas.

Your main tasks :

Design and Development:

• Develop applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• Analyze business needs and develop robust and appropriate technical solutions.
• Be a source of proposals to improve development processes, application performance and user experience.

Maintenance and Optimization:

• Analyze and fix bugs and defects in existing applications.
• Optimize application and database performance using best practices.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement by guaranteeing good quality of deliverables.

Technical and Quality Analysis:

• Carry out in-depth technical analyzes to identify areas for improvement.
• Apply rigorous development standards to guarantee the reliability and sustainability of solutions.
• Contribute to the implementation of tools or methodologies aimed at improving the quality of deliverables.

Documentation and Support:

• Write clear and detailed technical documentation.
• Provide technical and functional support to users and internal teams.

Collaboration and Innovation:

• Work closely with project teams, database administrators.
• Actively participate in code reviews and propose new ideas to enrich projects.
• Be a source of innovation and improvement

Job Requirements

• You hold a Master degree and ideally 5 years of experience
• You are recognized for your expertise in Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• You have strong skills in Oracle database design and management.
• Experience in SQL optimization and performance management will be a great asset
• Thus, you get proficient in tools such as Toad, SQL Developer, GitHub, JIRA etc…
