Tiny Engine
Engineers in the MIT Microsystems Technology Laboratories have developed a fully 3D-printed electrospray engine. Ideal for propelling tiny satellites, the lightweight device could be produced on board a spacecraft and cost much less than traditional thrusters.

MIT researchers develop new asteroid detection methods to help protect Earth // WBZ News Radio
Research Scientist Artem Burdanov discusses his team’s work developing a new asteroid detection method that could be used to track potential asteroid impactors like 2024 YR4 and help protect our planet. Burdanov and his colleagues used the new method to detect 138 asteroids ranging in size from a bus to the size of Gillette Stadium, using a “clever technique to find asteroids that are hidden in the noise.”
